District 5 Animal Alliance is a volunteer based experienced 501(c)(3) welfare advocate group that focuses on facilitating care and placement of dogs at risk of euthanasia from area shelters and pounds.
How We Help
Paving the Way to a Better Tomorrow by Housing the Homeless
Our primary purpose is to provide a day of respite for local shelter dogs that are awaiting adoption.
While at our facility dogs will receive basic care, nutrition, baths, mental stimulation, and physical exercise under a very controlled environment and supervision.
We will introduce and post the animals to media and sites such as Facebook, which is a vital component of their adoption journey.
We will be active in our community to help struggling pet owners with food and basic care for their pets, so they don’t become homeless and back in overcrowded animal shelters.
